THE MORNINGSIDE STORY

From our family to yours, we believe in sharing our farms and our love of horses.

Morningside Stables began as most things do: a childhood dream. I grew up in a horse loving family, and spent all my time at the barn. Like most horse crazy girls, I dreamed of one day owning my own farm. As I grew older, I spent years studying equine business, competing and training horses, and teaching young riders. Eventually, I married and began my family, passing on the love of horses to my kids as well. When I had the opportunity to take over operations at the Andover Equestrian Center in 2015, I jumped at the opportunity and Morningside Stables was born. In the years since, we’ve expanded from our flagship location in Andover to two additional locations (Andy Smith Equestrian Center and Columbia Horse Center), all convenient to Baltimore and Washington D.C. We have many qualified, experienced instructors and safe horses for students of all ages to enjoy and learn from. Morningside is truly a family affair - I work closely with the students and horses each day, as do my husband and kids. If you love horses, we invite you to join our barn family!
